As 2024 draws to a close, we’re reflecting on a year of remarkable achievements and growth. From delivering outstanding client projects to expanding our team, 2024 has been a year of significant milestones.

Alongside industry recognition and thought leadership, we’ve built strong partnerships with incredible clients and pushed the boundaries of innovation.

Let’s dive into the key moments that have defined this year for our agency.

Delivering Exceptional Client Work

This year, we celebrated 8 years of Filter, marking nearly a decade of innovation, creativity and collaboration. Our team has grown to include 40+ talented individuals who bring diverse expertise to every project. This expansion has allowed us to deliver transformative digital solutions for a variety of exceptional clients.

We’ve partnered with organisations such as JD Wetherspoon, Fundraising Everywhere, Laguna Tools, CEPA and The Inside Out Community, helping them achieve their goals with cutting-edge digital experiences. From replatforming The Inside Out Community’s website to designing a new platform for Laguna Tools, our projects this year have been focused on empowering brands and driving results.

Our long-term partnership with JD Wetherspoon has continued to thrive as we provide advanced content management solutions tailored to their needs. Each project reflects our commitment to excellence and the trust our clients place in us to deliver meaningful results.

Recognition and Thought Leadership

2024 has been a year of accolades and thought leadership. We were honoured to be named WP Engine’s Agency Partner of the Year, and our WordPress plugin PersonalizeWP earned a Gold BIMA Award for its innovative impact on personalisation in WordPress. Additionally, our CTO, Paul Halfpenny, and Senior Project Manager, Allie Tupper, were recognised in the BIMA 100, celebrating their outstanding contributions to the industry.

We also shared insights through free resources like The Marketer’s Guide to WooCommerce and connected with the digital community through our UnFILTERed podcast, featuring industry leaders such as Katie Keith and Joost de Valk.

Our founders, Oliver Morrison and Paul Halfpenny, attended and spoke at major events, including the WordPress London Meetup and The Inside Out Awards, while our development team gained valuable insights at the AWS Summit. These engagements highlight our dedication to staying at the forefront of the digital landscape.

Collaborating with exceptional organisations

We’ve partnered with some incredible businesses and organisations over the years, delivering website transformations and driving improved performance.

Team Bonding and Milestones

At Filter, our success is driven by how we work together. We’re proud of the culture we’ve built, where collaboration, creativity and fun come together. This year, our team gathered for a memorable team social event in London, where we enjoyed a scavenger hunt and celebrated our collective achievements. As a remote-first agency, moments like these are key to building lasting connections and maintaining a strong team culture.

One of the most exciting moments of the year was the launch of PersonalizeWP at WordCamp Europe 2024 in Turin with some of our team in attendance. This product has already transformed how businesses use WordPress, allowing users to create highly personalised digital experiences. We’ve been thrilled with the response to its launch and are continually working on new features to enhance its capabilities in the future.

Looking ahead, we’re excited for the opportunities that the new year holds. With new projects already in motion and continued growth in our team, we can’t wait to see how we continue to push boundaries, innovate and collaborate on impactful digital solutions.

In 2025, we will continue to deliver excellent digital projects for our clients, drive innovation and grow together as a team. We can’t wait to see what the new year will bring!
