As a WordPress VIP agency partner, it’s important to us that we continually make strong contributions within the WordPress community.

For this reason, we are very proud of our own personalisation plugin, PersonalizeWP. Our team have been working hard to make new additions and adjustments to the plugin, to further improve its functionality.

Our CTO, Paul Halfpenny, recently appeared on the WP Tavern Jukebox Podcast to discuss the topic of personalisation within WordPress.

We believe it should be included as part of WordPress Core, click here to find out why. In the meantime, our free PersonalizeWP plugin helps to fill the gap.

At this point, it’s well known across the industry that personalisation is no longer a luxury – customers expect a personalised experience.

PersonalizeWP enables users to show or hide content by applying a range of conditional rules to the Gutenberg Block Editor. You can find out more about the existing rules by visiting our PersonalizeWP page here.

So, what’s new in version 1.5? Let’s find out…

Update 1.5 includes:

  • Users can now add multiple rules to a single block
  • We have added new key/value parameter support for the Query String Rule
  • Our team have added translation support for languages such as French, Spanish, German, Polish and Greek
  • We have reduced number of database queries used within the plugin
  • We fixed a few bugs – including an issue related to the saving of rules
