We’re Growing, Introducing The Filter Senior Management Team

This year has been an exciting time for our team here at Filter, we’ve grown considerably since the beginning of the year and we’ve welcomed some talented individuals to our agency.

The Filter team has grown considerably since the beginning of the year and recently, we have appointed a new Senior Management Team to help us achieve our goals and objectives across the business.

Our CEO, Oliver Morrison and our CTO, Paul Halfpenny launched Filter back in 2016 after working together for many years. As the agency landscape was changing, they set out to create a different kind of agency to focus on the ‘art of the possible’.

As our agency grows, so does our talented team of industry experts! Let us introduce you to some familiar and not-so familiar faces from the Filter team.

Rachel Berry – Head of Client Services

Rachel joined the business in September, bringing a wealth of experience when it comes to building strong client relationships and delivering digital solutions.

When asked about her decision to join the team, Rachel said: “You rarely find an agency that does deliver what they say on the tin! Olly & Paul’s ethos of a family-first culture and transparency was refreshing. The opportunity in a remote-first model of working allows me access to talented colleagues and clients all over the country and beyond, which was also very exciting”.

Sarah Vaughan – Head of Delivery

Sarah has been an integral part of the Filter team since 2020 and now leads on our delivery, working hard to ensure we meet our clients expectations for scope, quality, time and budget.

We asked Sarah about how she manages to balance her role while working remotely, Sarah said: “Through a combination of making sure the team are keeping the online tools up to date, so I always have the latest status, regular communication with daily stand-ups, video calls and slack conversations. I also like to have at least weekly checkpoints in place with each client.”

Si Cooke – Head of Business Development

Si joined the team during early October and has extensive knowledge of working within an agency. Si will be the first point of contact for new clients and has a strong background working in design and digital strategy. Read more about Si’s background here.

When asked about which aspect he is most looking forward to as part of his new role, Si said: “I’m most excited about the quality of work, I know I should say growth. But for someone in my position you have to believe in what you represent. Filter has an incredible team who repeatedly achieve exceptional standards. That for me is all the fuel I need, I know that growth and success are byproducts of outstanding services”.

Chris Murfin – Head of Development

Chris joined Filter in June, bringing over 30 years of software development experience having worked globally across manufacturing, banking, healthcare and other sectors.

We asked Chris why he decided to join the Filter team, he said “I resonate with Filter’s ethos and am excited to be part of a strong team who is passionate about creativity, design and developing quality software solutions”.

Jo Ryall – Head of Systems & Support

Jo became part of the Filter team back in 2018 and has a vast amount of experience building and working with complex systems and enterprise platforms.

When asked about why he decided to join Filter, Jo said: “I had a long-established relationship with Paul as we had previously worked together at Hostway. Filter were undergoing rapid growth and they approached me to see if I would like to join them. For me, it was a great opportunity to apply my skills and experience as part of a smaller team that was working with some great clients on exciting and challenging projects”.
