We recently had the pleasure of joining WP Engine for their latest Ignite event in London. These events aim to bring together top agencies from the UK to get an insight into the latest web technology and emerging digital trends.

Ignite London is a great example of how shared expertise can help the digital space, focusing on building faster and more scalable experiences.

During the event, Monica Cravotta (VP of Marketing at WP Engine) gave an engaging presentation which explained how WP Engine is working with UK agencies to deliver faster results and more dynamic customer experiences for enterprise clients in the WordPress space.

Later in the event, Ezinne Udezue (SVP and Chief Product Officer at WP Engine) explained a variety of recent product innovations from the WP Engine team and gave insight into the product roadmap for builder tools such as Atlas, WP Engine’s headless server environment. Atlas has a number of advantages including the content modeler, an open source WordPress plugin providing developers with a simple UI for headless-first data modeling. Another distinct feature is blueprints, which helps kick-off new projects with standardized templates, pre-configured environments, and evendemo content.

Our Head of Business Development, Si Cooke commented “We were excited to be part of this Ignite session, it was a great insight into a business investing time and effort into the future of WordPress. The fact that the WP Engine had flown their senior product team and CEO over to hear what the UK agencies had to say, was a genuine sign of partnership.”
