Our Experience At The Technology For Marketing Show 2022

On the 29th September, we visited the TFM22 event in London. Keep reading to find out about our experience at the conference, our top speakers and what we got up to on the day.

The Technology for Marketing Conference took place from the 28th to the 29th September 2022, at the ExCeL in London.

Our founders, CEO Oliver Morrison and CTO Paul Halfpenny, attended the event and visited a number of speakers, stands and even met up with a few familiar faces during the day.

The conference included over 10,000 brands and 300 industry leading solution providers and is the only event in the UK which focuses solely on marketing technology.

Organisers have already announced the dates for next years event, which will be held from the 27th – 28th September 2023. We highly recommend going along!

The Power of Data and Personalisation: Customer-Centered Marketing

Jim Kelly of Algonomy gave an insightful talk discussing the best strategies for personalisation, AI-powered decisioning and real-time customer data analysis and insights.

AI-Powered Recommender Systems in eCommerce

Dino Bernicchi conducted a session on recommender systems and engaging content for customers, as well as how AI-powered technology can help to transform customers experience.

How to fully automate a customer journey; from prospect to lead to returning customer

Varun Gujral of JLL provided some interesting information on how to automate an end-to-end journey to engage users across various touch points. Explaining more on how to utilise behaviour data, lead scoring, omnichannel automation and the best MarTech tools to use.

How the power of website personalisation impacts CX and revenue growth

Kier Humphreys of Hallam and Jan Barthalemy of Leadoo Marketing Technologies gave a joint talk exploring the different ways marketers can create personalised experiences in a new era without cookies and adhering to GDPR.

Customer Identity in the Crosshairs

Andy March of OKTA spoke about how digital customers expect more and more from businesses they interact with online and how managing customers identity is now very complex.
