Paul Halfpenny CTO

WordCamp Europe is an informal, community-organised gathering of WordPress enthusiasts to discuss all things WordPress, share ideas and get to know each other.

We’re sure you know what WordPress is but just in case you don’t, WordPress is the worlds largest Content Management System (CMS) and powers over 43% of all websites online.

We are proud to be part of this amazing event, you can catch our CTO Paul Halfpenny giving a lightning talk from 2pm on the 3rd June in Porto, Portugal.

I’m really looking forward to being part of this years WordCamp Europe event in Porto. I will be giving a lightning talk on how WordPress can help businesses to deliver a personalised experience and the free plugin we have developed to fully personalise content for site users.

Paul Halfpenny

CTO, Filter

Paul will be speaking on our free WP-DXP plugin and how it can help businesses to extend the Gutenberg block editor. This will provide users with the ability to set rules for which content to show and when to show it.

The event will be livestreamed via YouTube and the sessions from each speaker will be made available via wordpress.tv. Read more about that here.

How We Connected WordPress to AI Using the Abilities API and MCP

Our open-source Filter Abilities plugin uses the new WordPress Abilities API to give AI assistants direct access to your site. This unlocks conversational commands to manage content, audit SEO, and analyze visitor data, transforming how you interact with your digital platform.
