How the Filter team reduces stress

Stress Awareness Month has taken place every April since 1992, to raise awareness of both the causes and cures for modern stress.

As a fully remote digital agency, we take extra care to make sure our team are happy and healthy. We are proud to have a great company culture and we encourage open and honest discussions where ever possible.

In honour of the Stress Awareness Month campaign, we asked our team how they like to reduce stress in their everyday routine:

  • Talking things through
  • Spending time with family
  • Going for a morning walk
  • Listening to music or podcasts
  • A morning gym session
  • Going on a dog walk
  • Playing active video games
  • Spending time with pets

For me starting off my day well helps. So walking the dog first thing in the morning followed by a gym session lifting weights before work

Pets have been proven to reduce stress and anxiety, one of our valued clients Medivet have written an informative article on the benefits of pet ownership, click here to read more. You can also find more information on our work with Medivet by visiting our client story page.

I find talking about things really helps, if something gets stressful I always feel comfortable grabbing Olly or Paul for a quick chat and we figure out a better way forward
