Filter Attends Big WP With WordPress VIP

We recently had the pleasure of attending an exclusive WordPress VIP event in London, featuring insights from open source pioneers, Matt Mullenweg, Mike Little & Dries Buytaert.

A conference room filled with attendees, featuring abstract geometric light installations overhead. The room has modern decor with large screens displaying presentation content at the front.

We were thrilled to be invited by WordPress VIP to attend Big WP in London this week.

The unique event provided an opportunity for the brightest minds in the industry to network and share insights on the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development and content management.

Our CEO, Oliver Morrison, and CTO, Paul Halfpenny, joined other influential leaders in the digital space to discuss and explore the most effective practices in WordPress development and bespoke solutions. Engaging in meaningful conversations with like-minded individuals, they seized the chance to learn from an impressive lineup of expert speakers.

Big WP featured esteemed figures such as Matt Mullenweg and Mike Little, the visionary co-founders of WordPress, as well as Dries Buytaert, the founder of Drupal and Acquia. This momentous occasion marked the first time the influential figures shared the same stage.

These individuals played instrumental roles in the development of open-source CMS platforms, which now power approximately 50% of all websites on the internet.

In addition to this stellar panel, we had the privilege of gaining insights from News UK, who shared their remarkable WordPress publishing journey, and Inpsyde, who talked about their views on the right approach to multilingual in WordPress and why you shouldn’t wait for Phase 4 to be completed.

As a WordPress VIP agency partner, we recognise the importance of attending events like Big WP, as they help us to stay in the loop on all things WordPress and enable us to provide the best possible service.
