At Filter, we are always evaluating our workplace culture and values, in order to maintain an inclusive, healthy and happy environment for our team. As part of our continued commitment, we are proud to have signed the Menopause Workplace Pledge.

Menopause Workplace Pledge

At Filter, one of our main values is that family is more important than work. This means we are always evaluating ways we can continue to show our commitment to our team, to encourage an inclusive, healthy and happy culture.

As part of this commitment, we are proud to announce we have signed the Menopause Workplace Pledge created by Wellbeing of Women. This means we pledge to:

Menopause is a natural part of life for women aged between 45 to 55. Women who are affected stop having periods and can no longer conceive naturally.

The symptoms of menopause may include hot flushes, mood swings, anxiety, difficulty sleeping, low libido, difficulty concentrating and others.

You can read more about menopause at the Wellbeing of Women website here.

There should be no stigma or shame attached to menopause. We need more companies to come out and say, ’Okay, I understand. Now, how can we help?

We have already taken action by adding information regarding menopause to our company handbook. However, we will continue to evaluate how we can support colleagues affected by menopause.

We encourage other businesses to do the same, you can sign the Menopause Workplace Pledge on behalf of your company here.
