Why Digital Agencies Must Have Strong Company Values to Succeed

11 January 2022 1 min read

It’s vital for digital agencies today to have a strong set of company values, in order to attract the best talent, satisfy their clients, and achieve success. With that in mind, we’re excited to announce the launch of a new internal company handbook for our team here at Filter.

A group of people sitting together, engaged in a conversation. A woman with long curly hair is smiling at the center, with shelves and books in the background, creating a warm, collaborative atmosphere.

This new document details our own company values, our philosophy as an agency, our standards, as well as the benefits and rewards available to our staff.

We’re confident this new company handbook will help create a more positive, inclusive, and rewarding experience for everyone that works with us.

Why Company Values Are Important

Providing excellent service for our clients is our number one priority as an agency, but that’s only possible if we have a talented team working together in a healthy, supportive environment. Our company values naturally form the basis of how we operate, and we use these guide us as we work together towards our shared goals. With that in mind, these are some of the key values that shape the way we work:

  • We believe family is more important than work
  • We believe people are most fulfilled when they can do good work that they’re proud of
  • We trust our people, and always keep an open mind towards new ideas
  • We focus on the positives and face up to the negatives head-on
  • We believe in giving back as much as we can, and ensuring everyone is fairly treated
  • We believe that every member of our team contributes to, and shares responsibility for, our success as an agency.

It’s also a top priority for us to help our people learn and grown in their roles, and we work hard to enable each of our team members to do that.

Not only does this nurture their talent and help them reach their full potential, but it also has a positive impact on the quality of work we deliver for our clients and partners.

The Benefits of Becoming Part of the Team

As part of our new and improved company handbook, we’ve also invested heavily in producing an attractive benefits package for our staff. Some of the benefits available to all members of our team will include:

  • A friendly, supportive, and family-friendly working environment
  • 27 holiday days per year + Bank Holidays
  • Extended holiday and sabbatical options
  • Flexible working hours and arrangements
  • UK-based remote-first working (and remote working allowances)
  • Provision of high standard equipment
  • Personal improvement budget
  • Health and medical support
  • Child trust fund contributions
  • Standard inflationary pay rises
  • A range of other benefits once you get started
  • Stakeholder pension
