We’re delighted to share that Filter has been shortlisted in the Standout Platform / Technology / Tool category at the 2026 UK Digital Excellence Awards, recognising our work building PersonalizeWP and Filter AI, our two free, open-source WordPress plugins.
The UK Digital Excellence Awards celebrate the agencies, brands and individuals redefining what success looks like in the digital world – from technical innovators to creative pioneers. Being shortlisted in the Platform / Technology / Tool category is a reflection of the genuine impact these two plugins are having in the WordPress ecosystem.
It’s also the latest in a series of award recognitions for this work. PersonalizeWP took Gold at the BIMA Awards, and both plugins were central to our Bronze at the Drum Awards. Each time, the recognition has been rooted in the same thing: building tools that solve real problems for WordPress users.
PersonalizeWP brings content personalisation to WordPress without the need for code. Using cookieless visitor tracking, user segmentation, and rules based on behaviour, location, device type and more, it gives businesses of all sizes the ability to deliver tailored digital experiences, and integrates natively with WooCommerce and Gravity Forms.
Filter AI streamlines content creation through intelligent automation. From SEO-optimised copy and ALT text generation to custom image creation and WooCommerce product descriptions, it puts AI-powered tools directly into the WordPress dashboard – with a bring-your-own-key model that keeps things flexible and cost-effective.
Both plugins are available free to the entire WordPress community.
We’re competing against some strong entries in this category, and we’re proud to be among them. The UK Digital Excellence Awards shortlist reflects the breadth and ambition of the UK digital industry, and it’s genuinely encouraging to see independent, open-source tooling recognised alongside larger commercial platforms.
We’d like to congratulate all the other shortlisted companies and look forward to the ceremony. Whatever the outcome, this recognition is a credit to the team that has built and continued to develop these tools.
