Recognising the opportunity to create a more engaging and user-friendly online experience, Laguna Tools partnered with Filter for a comprehensive redesign aimed at elevating their brand and facilitating easier navigation for potential customers through their WooCommerce-powered WordPress website.
Filter adopted a two-phase approach to deliver the project efficiently and effectively.
The first phase involved a reskin of the current Elementor website, utilising new UI designs to refresh its look while leveraging existing content. This initial upgrade aimed to enhance the site’s visual appeal and functionality, optimising it for seasonal sales and promotional activities.
The second phase consisted of creating a Project Definition Document (PDD), outlining a roadmap for Laguna Tools’ in-house development team to build the site using the WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg). This document included best practices for implementation and recommendations for third-party plugins to ensure scalability and flexibility.
The previous website’s outdated design and complex content structure made it challenging to articulate a fresh design and recommended page structure for a website that serves a diverse range of products and customers.
