Filter AI 1.5: AI-Powered Summaries, Grammar Checking, and More Control Over Your Content

This release focuses on giving you more control and helping you create content that performs well with both human readers and AI-powered search engines.

We’ve continued to build on user feedback to make content creation faster and more flexible. Whether you’re optimising for the rise of AI search or simply want to polish your writing without changing your voice, version 1.5 delivers the tools you need.

This update brings powerful new capabilities that help you create better content while keeping you in the driver’s seat.

Long-form content is valuable, but sometimes readers want the key points quickly. The new Summary block uses AI to analyse your page content and generate a concise Summary section with 3–5 bullet points covering the main takeaways.

Simply add the Summary block to any page or post, click “Generate Summary Content” in the sidebar, and let Filter AI do the work. You’ll get three different summary options to choose from, so you can pick the one that best captures your content.

Why it matters: Summary sections are increasingly important for AI optimisation. As search engines become more sophisticated at understanding and surfacing content, having clear, structured summaries helps your pages get discovered and referenced by AI-powered tools.

The block is fully customisable – you can adjust the background colour, heading tag (H1 to H6), heading colour, and text colour to match your brand. The heading defaults to “Summary but you can edit it to suit your style.

Sometimes you don’t want AI to rewrite your content – you just want it to catch any grammatical errors. The new Grammar Check option does exactly that, reviewing your text and correcting mistakes while keeping your original voice and message intact.

How it works: Select any text and choose “Check Grammar” from the content options. Filter AI will analyse your writing and show you exactly what changes will be made before you confirm. This means you stay in control and can see the corrections before they’re applied.

This is perfect for when you’ve crafted your message carefully and simply want a second pair of eyes on the technical details.

Previously, when you generated a page title or used features like text rewrite, expand, condense, summarise, or change tone, Filter AI would apply the result immediately. Some users found it difficult to revert if the suggestion didn’t quite fit.

Now you get three options to choose from – just like with custom image generation. Pick the one that works best or dismiss them all and keep your original content.

Features updated: Page title generation, text rewrite, text expand, text condense, text summarise, and text change tone all now offer multiple options before applying any changes.

Last and no means least, Filter AI 1.5 is fully tested and compatible with WordPress 6.9, which launched on 2 December 2025! Update with confidence knowing everything works seamlessly with the latest version of WordPress.
