We’re looking forward to attending this years conference in Turin, Italy with a group of key members of the Filter team.
As a team deeply invested in being informed on the latest and greatest technological developments, WordCamp events provide a valuable opportunity for us to engage with fellow WordPress enthusiasts, gain insights from industry leaders and explore innovative solutions to propel our services forward.
For WordCamp Europe this year, we’re excited to have a group of our core team members joining us, including Oliver Morrison, our CEO & Founder; Paul Halfpenny, our CTO & Founder; Rachel Berry, leading our Client Services division; Allie Tupper, guiding our projects as Project Manager; Char Bryce, managing digital accounts with expertise; and several key members of our respected development team.
Turin, Italy, the host city of WordCamp Europe 2024, offers a captivating blend of history, innovation and architectural marvels. Turin is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and dynamic spirit.
At the heart of the city lies the prestigious Lingotto Conference and Exhibition Centre, a symbol of Turin’s transformation into a modern hub for international conferences and exhibitions. Renzo Piano’s visionary design has revitalised the centre, once Fiat’s pioneering car factory, into a contemporary venue boasting state-of-the-art facilities.
The Lingotto Exhibition Centre comprises four expansive halls, spanning approximately 60,000 square meters, seamlessly connected to the main Conference Centre and nearby hotels.
WordCamp Europe 2024 promises to be an enriching experience, with a wide variety of speaker sessions and workshops to attend.
Our team is looking forward to sessions on topics such as sustainable open-source development, SEO integration, the European Accessibility Act, and WordPress’s new tag manipulation APIs.
Beyond the sessions, there will be networking opportunities and social events hosted by partners like WP Engine and Yoast. We will also be attending on behalf of our personalisation plugin, PersonalizeWP, to showcase its functionality and demonstrate how it can enhance the WordPress experience. With Turin’s rich 2,000-year history and dynamic modern vibe, WCEU is set to be an unforgettable event.
We will soon be starting our journey to Turin and we can’t wait to see what WordCamp Europe 2024 has in store for us!
We look forward to immersing ourselves in the vibrant atmosphere of innovation, forging new connections and returning with fresh insights to optimise our services and solutions.
